KNewlines

The art of the body-body art. Call it what you will. As of yet I'm just calling them 'KNewlines' (copyright KNewart '10). So what are they? Well, doing my job, saving the world one phone call at a time leaves my hands free to sketch, doodle and otherwise draw draw draw. So these 'KNewlines' have come to fruition. I have taken my line drawings and projected them onto the fabulous torso of model Lilliana Guastamachio. I have created several versions of these 'KNewlines' which in the future will be used for several art projects (body art, tattoos, etc.). Stay tuned.

Miles, Monk, oils and me.

Reminiscing. A few years back when the world was young I worked in oils almost exclusively. Something about oil painting is amazingly wondrous for the body and soul. Alas as the cost of oil paint, brushes, canvas', etc rose more than my annual income, the more economic arts (pencil, pen&ink, acrylics, collages, computer graphics, etc.) thankfully have aloud my insatiable creative output to flourish. So for your entertainment this time I present the first of two oil paintings I did from an era past...okay, I need to crow a little here. After not viewing these for many years I have to say that they are damn good.
Oh yeah.
